Quick & Easy DIY Valentine Card

Valentine’s Day is 6 days away, so we are tiptoeing into that “last minute” stage of preparing for the day!  With classroom cards, gifts for the teachers, Valentine boxes for the girls, and everything heart shaped…I feel like everything on my craft table has been so much fun and full of love!  I have been wanting to get some paper into my Cricut machine and this tutorial will be my first ever paper project with my Maker!  It felt so good to go back to the basics and do a little paper crafting, as I created this quick & easy DIY Valentine card for my honey.  If you are wanting to create a really cute (and FAST) card for your Valentine, this is such a great idea!  I will show you the premade SVG I used, plus how I added a little dimension to this card with a patterned paper.  I promise you, this is worth watching if you feel like you are suddenly needing a last minute card.  In the end, this card will definitely not look last minute, but instead will look very beautiful and intentional!

Does anyone else feel like store-bought cards are just ridiculously expensive?  I really have a hard time buying them, when I know they will be thrown away shortly.  And yes, I know homemade cards will be thrown away just the same…but at least they are fun to make and cost less!  And, since they are small in size, they are a wonderful excuse to use little scraps of leftover paper and vinyl that you are saving!  Plus, I think homemade cards just add a little more heart and thought…which is just special!  Check out how cute this easy DIY valentine card turned out in the tutorial below, plus be inspired by the source list following the video if you’d like to create this same look!
