When To Use Printable Vinyl Instead of Adhesive Vinyl

I love the changing of seasons because I feel like every new season brings me a fresh dose of inspiration.  Spring is one of my favorite seasons, especially because of the color palette!  I absolutely love the idea of pastels and florals, and honestly use them year round in my designs.  With Easter coming up, I decided I wanted to do a project full of pastels.  Knowing how expensive using multiple colors of vinyl for a project can be, I decided to use printable vinyl instead.  If you are wondering when to use printable vinyl instead of adhesive vinyl, a project with a variety of color involved is definitely a good time to opt for printable vinyl.  Instead of having to buy over 8 rolls of different vinyl colors, I was able to use a single sheet of printable vinyl.  And that is definitely cost effective!

When To Use Printable Vinyl Instead of Adhesive Vinyl

If you’re trying to determine when to use printable vinyl instead of adhesive vinyl, always consider the cost.  Instead of purchasing 8 sheets of vinyl feeding them individually into my machine for these Easter eggs, I was able to simply load one sheet of printable vinyl into my printer and then complete one cut.  Definitely both cost and time effective!  To see how I created this project from start to finish, be sure to watch the tutorial below.  Additionally, below the tutorial you will find a list of materials you will need to complete this same look at your craft table.  Enjoy and Happy Easter!
