  • Laura - love this article! i just got my lensbaby spark and took it outside to play. I noticed that like you once I uploaded them into LR some I was disappointed in but others I was totally in love with. I definitely need to practice with it more. Thanks for the share!ReplyCancel

    • {beth} a-dilly - yes, it definitely takes some practice! but it is so worth the time because the images are so fun!! how do you like the spark?ReplyCancel

  • Andrea Buttice Doering - I want to love my Sweet 35 – I do ~ I do. I just can’t nail focus. All the images are soft. My “starts with P” IG post yesterday was with that lens and and I think I used a fill 4gb card to get 1 image 🙁 I’m trying not to put it bag in my bag for another year, but don’t know if I’ll make it. Attempting to use it again today for the “pink” post. Beautiful images, as always. Thanks for posting! Shine On & Shine Bright ~ AndreaReplyCancel

  • Julie M - I have the composer pro and with it I got some free accessories, soft focus lens, macro, etc. but I do not have the Sweet 35. Do I need to have the Sweet 35 “attachment” with my composer pro, is that why I am having such difficulty. The lens baby website wasn’t that helpful, or at least I couldn’t figure out how to make it helpful! Help!ReplyCancel

    • {beth} a-dilly - hello julie, i am not sure i can be of much help, only to refer you to the videos on the lensbaby site that i find to be helpful walking you through how to use the lenses. i am not familiar with those accessories. i have the lensbaby composer pro sweet 35 and i just purchased the micro converter.ReplyCancel

  • Amanda Cohen - I have a Kate Bag too!! LOVEEEE it! Want another one now so I can fit my lap-top in too 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Tina Auten - After researching camera bags for several months I thought I had narrowed it down to the B-Hobo bag by Kelly Moore or the Abby bag by Jo Totes. As luck would have it, a local camera shop carries Kelly Moore so I went over on a field trip and took my camera, 50mm lens, and 18-250mm lens to see how they fit and how easily it’d be to get a camera in and out on the fly. To my utter surprise, I fell totally in LOVE with the Two Sue’s bag by Kelly Moore and in mustard (which is normally not part of my color wheel). I was between it and the Ester bag (same color you have – it’s just dreamy) but the cross body strap was a deal breaker for me for exactly the reasons you cited. I’ve had my bag just over a week and am loving it so far! Excellent review and thank you for sharing your bag choices!ReplyCancel

  • Jody - Love the look of the 2 Sues bag. Saw some reviews on Amazon that say the quality is poor. How has it held up for you?ReplyCancel

    • {beth} a-dilly - hello jody! i have heard that as well, but mine has held up very well! the back side of it has a little blue tint to it from rubbing on my dark denim jeans, haha! but it’s only slight and other than that i have been really impressed! mine is almost 2 years old in march and is still my favorite! 😉 happy camera bag shopping! let me know if you have any other questions about the two sues!ReplyCancel

The Kelly Moore Kate Bag

  • Kim Ortega Nerio - Great review! I have the 2 Sues on gray which I love too and the Esther in Caramel which I don’t use much. I have been thinking about the Kate and now your review makes me want to purchase it!! Just out of curiosity… Which laptop do you own so I can get a feel for the size?ReplyCancel

  • Kim Ortega Nerio - Too funny!! So based on your computer answer, I’m going to pick your brain a bit on computers if you don’t mind. I am a hobbyist mom photographer who volunteers as a photographer for a large flag football league. I photograph 76 teams over the course of 9 weeks and post 150-200 photos weekly. I edit on a 15 inch macbook pro that needs to be upgraded. I have never edited on a large screen so I like the idea of an iMac but often edit on the go with my laptop. Would you suggest the 13 inch with external monitor or stick with a 15 inch? I like the small size of the 13 inch but not sure if it’s too small for editing in lightroom. That’s where I’d love to hear your experience with it. For the price of a 15 inch retina, I can practically purchase an iMac and a 13 inch. Any advice would help!! ReplyCancel

  • stephanie Studer - So pretty!of course I want one 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Paola Dias - I love this bag. I just bought a 70-200 lens and have no idea how I am going to carry it around. Do you think it will fit comfortably? Are you still in love with Kate??? I am always afraid that the bag is too heavy even before we load with our gear…..ReplyCancel

  • my camera bags - bethadilly - […] the kate bag also has a variety of zipped pockets throughout the bag that helps to keep business cards, client contracts, and personal items like wallets and lip gloss all organized.  to read more about the kate bag, please visit my blog post “meet kate.” […]ReplyCancel
