Cricut Joy Door Signs : A Beginner Friendly Craft

I love the idea of creating little door signs to hang upon the door knob and they are so easy to create and personalize.  While I made door signs for my children’s rooms, you can make them for any room…including a craft room!  For this project, I decided to create Cricut Joy door signs that say “Rise and Shine, darling,” on one side and “Sweet Dreams, darling,” on the other.  My girls are loving these little additions to their doors and love to switch them around in the morning, and then again at bedtime.  It has added a sweet little routine to our day, plus these Cricut Joy door signs look really sweet throughout the day as they hang on their door knobs.  Don’t have a Cricut Joy?  No worries, you can create this look with any cutting machine!

Cricut Joy Beginner Friendly Picture Frames

If you’re making this for yourself, one tip that can make this project go from good to great is having a photo in mind that you will place in the frame.  If you base your frame around a specific photo, you can really customize your text to fit the tone of the photo as well as color match your vinyl to match the color palette within the picture.  Of course, if you are making this for another person who will place an unknown picture inside, you won’t be able to take this step and that is perfectly okay!  Trust me, this project will turn out beautifully and be one of your favorite crafts to make.  And I can’t say it enough…this project is Cricut Joy beginner friendly and will really help you get to know your new machine!  Below is a tutorial that will walk you through this craft step-by-step, plus an additional source list that will detail all the materials used within this craft so you can recreate it on your own!
