Stencil Vinyl With Your Cricut : A Step-By-Step Guide

Stencil Vinyl With Your Cricut : A Step-By-Step Guide | www.bethadilly.com

One of the main things about stencil vinyl that you will see in the tutorial below is that it is easier to peel wet, than it is to peel dry.  Knowing this, I made sure to start peeling my stencil off immediately after I was done painting.  Starting at the top, I began peeling away the stencil and towards the bottom it became a little more pesky to take off as the paint started to dry.  When you try this craft, definitely remember to peel your stencil off when the paint is wet.  Not only does it make the peeling process smoother and easier, but it helps create a clean finished line!  This tutorial is a really fun watch, plus below the video I will share what materials were used if you’d like to create this same look at your craft table.  Let’s get started learning all about stencil vinyl with your Cricut!

Create A Family Photo Album in 25 Minutes

I timed myself, and it only took me 25 minutes to create my annual family yearbook!  At the beginning of every new year, it is always my goal to make sure all the photos from the previous year are not only completely edited, but that I’ve selected some to create and print our family yearbook.  This is my fourth year creating a family yearbook for our family, with our family name written in gold foil on the front and the year thoughtfully placed on the binding.  I love how they look all placed together with their corresponding year on the binding.  Even more, I love that our family can quickly select one and take a trip down memory lane together.  If you’re wanting your photos off of your computer and into your hands, these albums are a beautiful and easy way to do so.  Not only is the final album stunning and timeless, but you are able to create a family photo album in 25 minutes!  I think everybody can set aside time for that!

I love creating family photo albums through Artifact Uprising.  They are timeless and their quality is beyond what I wished for, with so many beautiful album colors to choose from.  I love choosing a different color each year, as I think their color palette is stunning and coordinates well together.  I love the simplicity of their album design, and their ink quality is very accurate which makes all my time editing color in post processing very worth it when the photos print how I expect them to.  Another thing that I love about Artifact Uprising is their simple album creation process.  Again, this album took me 25 minutes to complete and I love every page of it!  As a busy mama whose little ones have endless activities, I am always running around and taking pictures.  Having a photo album company that makes printing and saving our family memories easy is very important to me.

When To Use Printable Vinyl Instead of Adhesive Vinyl

I love the changing of seasons because I feel like every new season brings me a fresh dose of inspiration.  Spring is one of my favorite seasons, especially because of the color palette!  I absolutely love the idea of pastels and florals, and honestly use them year round in my designs.  With Easter coming up, I decided I wanted to do a project full of pastels.  Knowing how expensive using multiple colors of vinyl for a project can be, I decided to use printable vinyl instead.  If you are wondering when to use printable vinyl instead of adhesive vinyl, a project with a variety of color involved is definitely a good time to opt for printable vinyl.  Instead of having to buy over 8 rolls of different vinyl colors, I was able to use a single sheet of printable vinyl.  And that is definitely cost effective!

If you’re trying to determine when to use printable vinyl instead of adhesive vinyl, always consider the cost.  Instead of purchasing 8 sheets of vinyl feeding them individually into my machine for these Easter eggs, I was able to simply load one sheet of printable vinyl into my printer and then complete one cut.  Definitely both cost and time effective!  To see how I created this project from start to finish, be sure to watch the tutorial below.  Additionally, below the tutorial you will find a list of materials you will need to complete this same look at your craft table.  Enjoy and Happy Easter!

  • Christina V May - I was really interested in decorating some clear glass pyrex mixing bowls.  I was wondering if I could do it with infusible inks.  Would you have any information or instructions on how to do that?  By the way I love watching and learning from you on You Tube.  I also love the LORD.ReplyCancel

Toddler Girl Easter Baskets: Classic Ideas To Fill Your Baskets With

One project that I always look forward to each year, now that I am a mama, is creating Easter baskets for my girls.  I love all the prep that goes into deciding what to put inside, waiting for items to arrive, and then thoughtfully arranging them in baskets for the girls to be surprised with on Easter morning.  This year our girls are 4 and 2, making me really think about toddler girl Easter baskets that will really make them excited.  Both of our girls are really into dress up, so tutus with bunny tails were a must!  They both also really love shoes, so new spring shoes are always a great filler.

As for a cuddly item, Cuddle & Kind graciously sent both girls new dolls to be featured in this year’s toddler girl Easter baskets.  We adore Cuddle & Kind and their mission and love having their dolls in our baskets each year.  Our oldest loves swans, making Harlow the swan a perfect new friend for her.  And with my littlest, Eloise the elephant is definitely going to be a welcomed surprise on Easter morning.  For more details on where I found all the items for our toddler girl Easter baskets, be sure to see the source list at the bottom of this post.  I hope you have a beautiful Easter and that this post inspires you with beautiful ideas for your baskets.
