I have always loved planning my girls’ birthday parties. It is always such a fun project to take on that involves a lot of checklists and trips to the craft store! I always start with the theme, the color palette and the invitation…then everything is based on that! This is my first year with a Cricut machine and it made birthday party planning even more fun! Not only was I able to personalize everything, but I was able to do it all at my craft table. One of my favorite things about birthday parties as a child was the party favor bags that were handed out at the end. Sure, the party was super fun and the cupcakes were delicious, but when I was a child I really thought that post party gift bag was so special! Wood signs are among my top favorite things to make and, when it comes to designing, the possibilities are endless. Not only are wood signs very beginner friendly, but they are so cute and also make perfect gifts. Even better, you can personalize them for yourself or for a friend, making the possibilities for designs even more endless! As our littlest has just turned two, I am starting to get my heart around transitioning her room from that nursery look to a big girl room. While we are nowhere near a big girl bed yet, I have found myself inspired to redo her room in phases. I found this beautiful wreath design and immediately knew it would make the perfect monogrammed sign for her room, having me running to the craft store for the supplies. I am always in love with chalkboard signs that have pretty sayings and even prettier hand lettering. I stand there, amazed by the beauty and wonder…how in the world could I make something like that!? Every year, I create little Valentine Boxes for the girls that are so sweet and fun. I keep it small and simple, but the girls really enjoy them.
