Potty training and Valentine’s Day came around similar times at our house this year that, believe it or not, inspired a craft. Just as I was starting to get the Valentine’s Day decor out to think through some future crafts, the girls decided to potty train together. And if you have ever potty trained a child, you may know that chocolate is usually involved…for the tiny potty trainer and definitely for the mama! Little M&M’s are really popular at our house for potty training and our girls really got excited to see the pink holiday ones that just came out. Inspired by our family in need of chocolate and a sweet little jar I had, I definitely had fun creating a fun jar label in Cricut Design Space that makes this jar of yum even sweeter. If you are wanting to learn how to create jar labels with your Cricut, this tutorial is so simple and easy!

Oh my goodness, I really wish that I would have had a Cricut last year when my little girl turned three and when hosted her Pinkalicious birthday party! I definitely would have made these as party favors for her friends, but the ones I created then were really sweet too. With Valentine’s Day coming up, I wanted to make my girls little DIY princess wands to go in their Valentine boxes because they really love dress up. They are also really into the alphabet, as they are learning to recognize their names in print, so personalizing them was a perfect idea. With a little paint, some pretty ribbon and a quick cut with my Cricut…my DIY princess wands came to life quickly and were even better than I imagined. If your little one is in love with dressing up and playing princess, be sure to check out this really quick and easy tutorial for DIY princess wands!

When I originally purchased my Cricut, t-shirts were the number one reason for justifying my purchase. For some reason, I thought t-shirt making would be so much fun…especially having children. My first experience with patterned iron on was with a household iron and was an utter fail. It was so tricky, and I practically melted the iron on. After than initial try, I asked for an Easy Press. With iron on being so expensive, I wholeheartedly believe everyone should have an Easy Press that simplifies the iron on process and gives you the best chance for success. The very first project with my Easy Press was a set of t-shirts for my girls and it was so easy! Patterned iron on with an Easy Press was not only so darn easy, but it was so fun and stress free! If you are ready to tackle patterned iron on with an Easy Press, this tutorial is the perfect first step!

How To Use Cricut Patterned Iron On With An Easy Press
.jpg)
When I unwrapping my Easy Press 2 on Christmas morning, I was super excited! In fact, I had secretly purchased a roll of patterned iron on…in hopes that I would get an Easy Press for Christmas and tucked it away with my craft supplies. I mean, I didn’t want to be home on Christmas Day with a new Easy Press and not have any iron on to make a project with! The first project I made was these adorable floral initial baseball t-shirts for my toddlers. I love the soft floral print paired with the baseball style. And my girls loved them!
I think this is one of my favorite tutorials that I have filmed so far and I know you are going to love it too! Below you will find a step-by-step tutorial for using patterned iron on with an Easy Press, followed by a list of materials used within the video guide. Let’s get started!

Monograms are probably one of my favorite ways to personalize an item. In fact, now that I have learned how to make a monogram in Cricut Design Space…I might just have to monogram all the things. But first up, a new coffee thermos for myself. Friends, I have been drinking cold coffee for too long. Don’t get me wrong, I love an iced coffee…but only when it was intentionally made that way. Sometimes I find myself reheating coffee so much that by the time I go to defrost dinner…my mug is still sitting in the microwave from earlier in the day. (Insert sigh.) A quick tap on my phone and a ring of my doorbell had a new coffee tumbler in my hands and ready for a monogram. To be honest, the first time I learned how to make a monogram in Cricut Design Space I went a little cross eyed and thought it was complicated. So if you are thinking the same, I’ve got you! In this easy tutorial, I will have you mastering the monogram.
